An absolute gem of a pub. We had a delightful meal with the standout being the steaks made from locally raised cattle. Kevin, the landlord, is the MVP; a fabulous host.

Delicious family Easter Sunday lunch enjoyed by all. The Old Black Bull country pub in a village setting was warm and inviting. Staff were very attentive and friendly, we would recommend without hesitation.

A small traditional village pub run by the Hannah family, situated in the beautiful village of Raskelf, North Yorkshire (just off the A19 north of York).

Dating back over 500 years, this 16th century inn is recorded in the dooms day book. Its structure boasts ships timbers brought up the river Ouse from Hull.

A free house, the local beers are Theakston's Best & Timothy Taylors Landlord along with a regular choice of rotating guest ales. A great selection of wines, whisky and gins to be had too.

The menu is traditional, fresh and ethical, with all produce supplied daily from the local farms & suppliers throughout Yorkshire. The small kitchen is run by well known Chef Andy Holt. A born and bread Yorkshireman with over 30 years experience.
